Freeman Grant Awarded to A Wave of Healthy Meals!

A Wave of Healthy Meals was awarded grant funding from FACES ( Freeman Assists Communities with Extra Support) to support the the operation of this non-profit organization in providing free healthy, nutritious meals to those undergoing cancer treatment in Sussex County, Delaware.  We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Freeman Foundation for this funding that allows A WAVE of Healthy Meals to continue to serve our individuals in our communities. This funding supports the purchase of supplies and locally grown foods to prepare healthy meals, transportation for our delivery angels to safely drop off meals to those in need, and other operating costs. ​

Thanks to grant programs, such as Freeman Foundation FACES, A Wave Of Healthy Meals is able to continue to serve those in need in our communities.
