Established in January 2019 as a private, not-for-profit organization, “A WAVE of Healthy Meals” improves the health and well-being of people by preparing and delivering weekly, free, healthy meals to those undergoing cancer treatment in Sussex County.  WAVE believes in the power of healthy nutrition as an important element in the healing process.Modeled after the MANNA and Moveable Feasts Community Projects, our holistic approach is to assist individuals in battling their illness, improve their quality of life and promote the power of food as another element of the healing process.We know that when you are living with serious health conditions, eating the right food can have a big impact on your health. For many people it is a choice whether to buy food or medication to make ends meet. Just as important as the food, is the love that comes with that food. A homemade meal lets patients know that someone cares about them.
